The Big Three
Each year, APQC puts on three major events. These events help drive awareness in the community and also help us collect funding to fuel the resources we offer to the community year round.
PRIDEFEST
Held in June, PrideFest is our annual outdoor celebration of LGBTQIA+ joy, bringing thousands together for live entertainment, vendors, community resources, and family-friendly fun. The festival creates a vibrant, affirming space where all people, especially queer and trans people can gather, connect, and be celebrated.
QUEER PROM
Many in the queer community did not have the opportunity to experience high school prom as their most authentic selves, and this dance party event intentionally creates a joyful, affirming space where everyone can show up, show out, and celebrate exactly who they are loudly, proudly, and without apology.
OPERATION TRANSFORMATION
This thrilling, emotionally charged Drag-centric event is the yearly fundraiser to support APQC’s gender affirming care scholarship program. This unique program awards thousands of dollars in grants every year to local applicants seeking a variety of gender-confirming, life-changing treatments.
