Donations to the General Fund allow us the flexibility to fund the majority of our operations. From supporting queer artists by paying performers at PrideFest, to fostering queer joy at  Queer Prom, to visibility created by the “From Athens, With Pride” t-shirts that can be seen all around town. These funds are directed to all aspects of our organization. They cover our daily expenses and the ability to have an Executive Director, our full-time liaison to the queer community. Donations to our General Fund help with Community Outreach, Gender Affirming Care, Events, and more!

All funds donated to our Gender-Affirming Care Program are used to fund life-changing treatments through annual scholarships awarded to members of the trans and gender expansive community in Georgia. These grants have traditionally funded gender-affirming surgeries, helping bridge the financial gap for members of our community who are seeking life-changing operations that will help their external selves better reflect their authentic selves. In 2025, we awarded five scholarships to our community.

From buying pizzas for queer youth group meetings to funding name change clinics that connect locals with legal aides that walk them through the process of changing their legal name, our Community Outreach fund enables us to involve ourselves with the Athens Community. Because of generous donations to this fund, we have distributed school supplies at Back-to-School events, given away fans to families during hot Summer festivals, and hosted Athens’s Trans Day of Remembrance, allowing our community to mourn who we’ve lost and come together in creating a better future.
